A woman has appeared in court in Donegal Town charged with making threats against another woman on Facebook.
The woman, who is in her late 30s and from south Donegal, appeared before Donegal District Court on Wednesday after being arrested by Gardai.
The accused is alleged to have contravened a barring order which was granted against her at a previous sitting of Letterkenny District Court.
The charge alleges that the woman breached the barring order by putting the other woman in fear by communicating with her in electronic form via Facebook.
The case was adjourned until September 27th next.
