September 4, 2021

Donegal’s newly-appointed District Court Judge will appear in court for the first time later this month.

Former Meath solicitor Raymond Finnegan replaces outgoing Judge Paul Kelly who sat on the bench in Donegal for eleven years.

He sits at Letterkenny District Court on September 20th next.

He has already met with court staff after visiting the courthouse and offices in recent days.

Incoming Judge Finnegan is from Kells and was a solicitor with Liam Keane and Partners.

The 48-year-old is a keen GAA fan, is a staunch Meath supporter and is a member of the Referees Committee.
