PLANS have been lodged to demolish and rebuild the partially-built houses at a ghost estate in Ballybofey.

An application has been made by McHugh Bros Builders to Donegal County Council for the proposed development at Navenny.

The developer is seeking permission to demolish the 13 partially-built dwellings as well as eight partially-built detached garages.

The plans also include the construction of 24 two-storey buildings within 12 semi-detached blocks.

The development provides for connection to the public sewer and storm drain as well as the construction of a pedestrian crossing and all associated site works.

The local authority will make a decision on October 24.
