Searches have taken place at premises in Co Donegal as part of a major investigation this week.
Gardai are remaining tight-lipped about the raids.
However, Donegal Daily understands the raid took place in Letterkenny.
It is believed the Garda investigation is part of an overall investigation into fraud.
We understand that premises in Dublin were also searched as part of the same investigation at the same time.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed “Gardaí conducted searches of a business premises in County Donegal this week as part of an ongoing investigation.
“No further information is available at this time.”
