LETTERKENNY jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle was on the mark at Naas yesterday as he claimed the Champion Apprentice title.

The 19-year-old also rode a 10/1 winner on Joe Masseria to top off a brilliant season.

Dylan’s delight comes after an incredible year, having rode winners for 13 stables. A dramatic win at the Vintage Crop Stakes in Navan was one of his highlights from over 400 rides this year.

Today he’s off to Laytown in Meath to take part in Ireland’s only horse racing event run on a beach.
