Landrover jeep stolen from premises and torched

A Landrover jeep was stolen from a promises in Letterkenny and then torched.

The red jeep, registration number 04W421 was stolen from a lock-up premises on Neil T Blaney Road around 3.40am on Saturday morning last.

It was found burned out at Fernhill in Glencar around 7.10am.

Gardai say it traveled in the direction of Paddy Harte Road when it was taken.

The jeep was completely destroyed.

Gardai are appealing to anybody who may have seen the thief of thieves fleeing from the car to contact them.

They are also appealing for anybody who may have been in the area and have dashcam footage to contact them on 0749167100.
