Rugby: Late heartbreak for Letterkenny under-18s in final

Letterkenny Rugby Club under-18s suffered a late blow as they lost 20-19 in the Under-18 League Final to Ballymoney.

Letterkenny were winning with seconds left, but Ballymoney scored a penalty in what would be the last kick of the game to snatch the title from the Donegal sides grasp.

Despite beating Ballymoney twice this season in the regional league rounds,  Letterkenny couldn’t complete the hat trick and will be disappointed despite having achieved so much by getting so far.

It was a great reflection on their manager and trainer Kevin Arnold and the club itself.
