Kilmac’ awarded 3-0 final loss after appeal, Keadue reinstated

Keadue Rovers have been reinstated to the Brian McCormick Cup after an appeal to the Donegal Junior League.

Keadue protested their 2-1 loss against Kilmacrennan Celtic in last week’s area cup final due to an alleged ineligible player for Kilmacrennan.

They claimed that a player who featured for Kilmacrennan in that game played for another team earlier in the competition.

The Donegal Junior League have upheld the appeal and have awarded them a 3-0 win.

The Central Park side will now face Kildrum Tigers in the semi-final next month
