Donegal Fire Service host fire safety talk for 3rd class students via Zoom

The Donegal Fire Service are hosting a free fire safety talk for 3rd class students tomorrow, June 2nd via Zoom.

The programme helps schoolchildren interact with their families and the elements of fire safety at the home.

It has been running for the last few weeks, with over 80 schools joining the Zoom call so far, and will be ending tomorrow, the 2nd of June.

The talk will take place live from Letterkenny Fire Station and there will be some fun and learning to be had.

They will be covering a range of topics, such as; regularly testing smoke alarms, night-time safety routine check, escape plans and regular rehearsals, the correct actions to be taken in a fire situation, the correct procedure for calling emergency services, ‘Stop, Drop and Roll’ and a fun quiz!
