A number of court cases in Letterkenny were adjourned yesterday following a High Court decision the previous day.
A total of 13 cases were due to be heard at Letterkenny District Court before Judge Brendan O’Reilly.
However, Judge O’Reilly told those who appeared that he could not go ahead with the cases and adjourned them until June 13th.
The court is due to sit again today but it is understood those cases could also be adjourned.
The High Court decision questioned if a Garda other than a Garda who was taking the prosecution could present the case instead.
A decision on the issue is expected in the coming days.
