A man has been remanded in custody after he was charged with the unauthorised taking of his mother’s car.
Liam Boyle appeared at Buncrana District Court after he was arrested at his mother’s home at College Park in Letterkenny.
Detective Garda Grainne McCloone told the court that Gardai called to the address at 2am on June 9th and arrested Boyle.
An arrest warrant had been in circulation for the 25-year-old from a previous special sitting of Sligo Court on May 14th.
Solicitor Ciaran Haran told the court that they were trying to make arrangements to get a new permanent address for Boyle.
The accused was remanded in custody until the next appearance on June 13th.
