Certificate in Social Media and Web Marketing for the Tourism Sector is available through Springboard+ at ATU Donegal

In a world where more and more activities are centred online, social media and web marketing are some of the most effective ways to build customer relationships and promote an organisation’s products or services. But it can be a struggle to make sense of the sea of acronyms, technologies, and platforms.

This level 7 Certificate in Social Media and Web Marketing for the Tourism Sector is delivered 100% online with live weekly lectures. These lectures are also recorded which means if you can’t make a class, you can catch up! Complete the course over one year, part time with the added benefit of a work-based learning module to ensure you have the hands-on skills to walk straight into a role after completing the course.

It has been designed in collaboration with industry and will help the learner to develop a strategic approach to executing today’s most relevant digital marketing tactics using social media and website platforms. Throughout the programme, learners will examine social media and web marketing best practices to design a robust digital marketing strategy and create brand-centred social and web content that aligns with an organisations marketing objectives.

It is not just focused on tourism – these marketing skills can be applicable to any industry!

With Springboard funding available for this course, there is a possibility that you could get this course for free or 90% funded!

Springboard+ applicants must meet all residency and nationality/visa requirements, including the applicant has been ordinarily resident in an EU/EEA/Swiss state for at least three of the five years preceding their entry to the programme. 

Returners – Those who have a previous history of employment but may require upskilling, reskilling, or cross-skilling to transition back to the workforce. 

People in employment – A 10% course fee contribution for Level 7, 8, and 9 courses is applicable for employed participants. This is payable directly to the provider. 

The unemployed or formerly self-employed – May apply to all courses except for the two-year part-time ICT conversion courses. Unemployed applicants will also be required to meet additional criteria.
