The Family Resource Centre Raphoe has warned the community to be on alert after a recent theft.
The shed at the centre, located off the Diamond, was broken into at the weekend.
High-value power tools and equipment were stolen from the shed which is used by participants of the ‘Helping Hands’ project helping older people and people with disabilities with gardening and odd jobs.
“This will have a detrimental effect on the ‘Helping Hands’ project over the next few days,” staff said,
The centre team has urged everyone in the community to be aware and be more vigilant of their property.
