There must be something in the water in Portsalon.
Most of us had the fire on as we ripped open Christmas presents yesterday.
But not this lot who decided the only solution for Christmas in the rain was to jump into the sea!
These brave souls enjoyed a lovely swim followed by mulled wine, hot port, tea, coffee, nibbles, mince pies and even some Christmas cake.

And not only that but they even convinced some visitors who were fishing nearby to join them.
“We must send a lovely Buon Natale greetings to our Italian and Romanian visitors who left their fishing and joined us. They were guaranteed a Donegal Catch,” laughed one.
But they were rewarded with some lovely refreshments!
