Killybegs Athletic Club has just completed the first phase of their impressive new long jump facility.
“The club has got Phase One of our Long Jump in place and we are hoping to move on to phase two very soon, so we will be undertaking fundraising opportunities,” a spokesperson for the club said.
Phase Two will involve the laying of a Tartan track on the run up section of the long jump. “This should give our athletes another opportunity to move onto the next level at provincial and national competitions.”
