Donegal Firefighters Association held their inaugural golf classic in the fantastic Dunfanaghy golf course last Saturday.
The weather was atrocious and as other golfers turned back after the first hole, the firefighters kept going and finished their rounds.
This was the first Association Golf Classic which current and retired members were invited and we were delighted to see both on the day.
After a bruising 18 holes and a tough day for all, Noel Gillespie, SSO in Milford, won the competition, Eugene McClafferty, SO in Milford came second and Ownie McGee, Retired FF Falcarragh came third.
