A clever business has gone to great creative lengths to promote this year’s Darkness into Light event in the Twin Towns.

Bright Stanley Raitt and all the staff at W H Raitt & Son Ltd put on their thinking caps for this fantastic window display for Darkness Into Light Ballybofey Stranorlar.

A very simple, creative display of their products which gives a very strong message.

“We would encourage as many businesses as possible to put up a display for the walk,” a spokesperson for the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is now open for the annual Darkness into Light fundraising walk will take place at 13 locations across Donegal this year.

If, you haven’t registered please yet, go to www.darknessintolight.ie

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the first Donegal walk which was held in Letterkenny.

The events will take place at 4:15 am, in time for sunrise, on the morning of May 6.

The Donegal locations will include: Letterkenny, Carrick, Carrigart, Narin/Portnoo, Ballybofey and Stranorlar, Rathmullan, Arranmore Island, Buncrana, Bundoran, Carndonagh, Donegal town, Gweedore and Tory Island.

Pieta is 80% funded by fundraising events. Without our Darkness Into Light Supporters, Pieta couldn’t continue to provide vital services to people impacted by suicide and self-harm for free.
