There was a huge turnout yesterday evening for the Aurivo Killygordon 5K in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland.

Over 200 runners and walkers registered for the annual event at Crossroads, Killygordon, which has raised thousands for charities over the years.

This year’s chosen charity, Make-A-Wish, grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, bringing hope, strength and happiness.

The overall winner was Charlie O’Donnell from Rosses AC in a time of 16:13 with Finn Valley’s John McElhill a close second in 16:33. First lady home was Leoni Cooke of Finn Valley in 18:27, Rosses AC’s Bernie Boyle was second and Finn Valley’s Kay Byrne in third.
