Donegal All Star Yvonne Bonner featured in Adelaide Crows’ win over Richmond yesterday, moving them to the top of the Australian Football League Women’s (AFLW) table.

The former Glenfin player made six disposals in the comfortable 41-12 victory.

She wasn’t the only former Donegal star in action Down Under yesterday. Tanya Kennedy had a notable influence in the Sydney Swans 68-41 defeat against Geelong Cats. The Castlefin native managed to stifle Cats’ star Georgie Prespakis after the first quarter.

Meanwhile, former Donegal captain and Moville woman, Niamh McLaughlin, was prominent with 17 disposals in Gold Coast Suns runaway 99-26 victory against West Coast Eagles. The final tally of 99 was the third highest score in AFLW history.
