The much-loved Convoy man killed in a tragic motorbike accident at the weekend will be laid to rest today.

Father-of-two Arnie Whyte passed away following a single-vehicle accident outside Glenties on Sunday afternoon last.

Mr Whyte, who was in his 40s, was a hugely-popular figure amongst his family, friends and colleagues.

He was a truck-driver with Goudie Bros Transport Ltd in Raphoe.

His work colleagues paid a touching tribute to Arnie following his sudden passing.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter Adrianna and son Anthony, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.

Arnie’s funeral service will take place at his home today (Wed) at 2pm with burial afterwards in St Ninian’s Church graveyard.

May he rest in peace.
