Volunteers from Moville Tidy Towns committee (main pic) attended the National Tidy Towns awards ceremony last week at the RDS in Dublin.

They were delighted to retain their Bronze medal for the town and would like to thank Councillor Martin Farren for his ongoing support.

They also took the opportunity to show their appreciation to The Cosy Cottage & Barrons Cafe for their hospitality, Moville Community College students and staff, the gentlemen of Clarke’s Place, Boyce Paints and Moville Tool Hire for their ongoing discounts for Tidy Town work.

In addition, they thanked Tuas Worker Paddy Jo Breslin, Community Employment Scheme Workers, The Corner Bar for sponsoring this year’s gardening competition and all the local volunteers, residents and businesses that contributed to this great achievement.

“As always, we welcome new volunteers, ideas and sponsorship for future projects.”
