Property hunters looking to ‘bank’ an asset in Letterkenny can look forward to the former Ulster Bank building hitting the market soon.
The branch on Lower Main Street will soon be going up for sale as the entire branch network gets sold off or leased out nationwide.
The Letterkenny building could be a key investment for the future, as plans progress on the regeneration of the adjacent Market Square.
The branch closed its doors for the final time in April as part of a complete shutdown of Ulster Bank’s Irish services by the parent company, Nat West.
Since then a programme of works has been taking place to prepare the property for market.
Agent Cushman & Wakefield is managing the Ulster Bank Portfolio of properties.
“As works are completed the property will come to the market shortly after,” they said. Registrations are now open for interest in the building.
