A young man has been arrested after a man in his 40s died after a stabbing at a house in Dublin last night.
Gardaí and the emergency services were called to Castle Park in Tallaght just before 9pm last night.
They discovered a man inside the house with injuries following a stabbing.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A young man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Tallaght Garda Station.
It is understood he knew the victim.
A number of other people were in the house at the time.
The scene has been sealed off and the State Pathologist’s Office has been informed.
