Water remains out in the village of Manorcunningham.
It follows an earlier burst.
Councillor Donal Kelly said he has contacted Uisce Eireann and the team are on the ground repairing this issue.
Traffic management will be in place up until 2pm and the water should be restored around 3pm this afternoon.
Councillor Kelly said “I will continue to keep an eye on this with the aim of having the water flow back up and running as soon as possible.”
