Gardaí are appealing for information after two suspicious men were seen checking farmyard buildings during the night in Moville.

The men were seen at a farm in the Bredagh Glen area in the early hours of Sunday the 21st of January, at approx. 1.10am.

They were looking into buildings in the yard, but when they were disturbed they immediately left the area.

Nothing was stolen. However, gardaí are seeking to identify the men and are particularly interested in sightings of a white van.

A spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in that area between 00.45am and 1.30am and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí.

“If anybody observed any suspicious activity/vehicles in the area we ask them to make contact with us.

“We are particularly interested in any sightings/dash cam footage of a white transit style van that may have been in the area. Gardaí in Buncrana may be contacted on 074-9320540 with relevant information. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
