There is much sadness across Donegal today with the breaking news that Bishop Alan McGuckian is to leave his post in Donegal.
The outgoing Bishop of Raphoe is to return to Belfast where he has been appointed as the Bishop of Down and Connor.
But the popular Co Antrim-born clergyman will always be welcome in Donegal.
