A section of the Bunbeg road has been closed today to facilitate the production of a new TV series.
The Irish language series is being filmed in the area between Bunbeg Crossroads and Healthwise Pharmacy on the R257.
A diversion is in place to the R258 Closclady Road and the L-1383 Industrial Factory Road.
The closure will remain in place until 7pm this evening.
A second closure notice has been published for filming on the R256 Muckish Road in the vicinity of the “Bridge of Tears” in the townland of Ballyboe Mountain from Wednesday 20th March 2024 & Thursday 21st March 2024 (7am to 7pm). Traffic will be diverted on the N56 and R251 Back of Errigal Road.
