A young Buncrana man has died in a catastrophic road accident in Perth.
AJ Doyle, aged 30, was riding a Honda motorcycle in Lathlain on Easter Sunday when he left the road and hit a wall.
Police report that he sustained “catastrophic injuries” and passed away at the scene.
A major crash investigation has been carried out by the Western Australia Police Force.
Tributes have been pouring in for AJ, a popular young man who moved to Australia to work several years ago.
AJ’s heartbroken friends have set up a fundraiser to have his remains repatriated home to his family in Inishowen.
More than €66,000 ($109,534) has been raised online via GoFundMe to support AJ’s family, The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, and bring his personal belongings home.
