A man from Donegal has raised a brilliant €1,500 for services for cancer patients in the county – by running his first half-marathon.
Keith Boyd from Carrickfinn took on the challenge yesterday, raising money for Donegal cancer flights – a vital service for patients in the county who can only access their treatment in Dublin or further afield.
Donning his Rosses AC jersey, Keith finished his first half-marathon in Prague in a time of 2 hours and 15 minutes yesterday, but it’s far from the only run he’s taken on this year.
He’s also committed to walking or running every day for 365 days, as part of his fundraising efforts.
