Former Bishop of Raphoe Alan McGuckian is to be installed in his new role formally tomorrow.

The process will officially confirm him as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Down and Connor.

The Installation Mass will be livestreamed via the Saint Peter’s Cathedral, Belfast, webcam at www.churchservices.tv/stpeterscathedral and on the Diocesan Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/downandconnor/.

Bishop McGuckian was Bishop of Raphoe from 2017 to earlier this year, before a reshuffle within the church.

Bishop McGuckian has close connections to the Down and Connor diocese, having worked closely with the Diocese of Down and Connor in the ‘Living Church’ project from 2012 to 2017.
