The number-one target for the Kinahan cartel is reported to have been arrested by Gardaí in Donegal for alleged drug driving.

A car driven by James ‘Mago’ Gately (35) was stopped at a garda checkpoint in the Ballybofey area last week and it is alleged that the Hutch-aligned gangster failed a drugs test at the scene.

He was arrested before being released without charge while the results are analysed, the Irish Independent reports.
