A PPN Environment event in Letterkenny this Saturday, May 25th, offers a great opportunity to meet Donegal County Council’s new biodiversity and climate change officers.
The event is hosted by the environmental pillar of the Public Participation Network (PPN) and will be held at St. Eunan’s GAA Club in Letterkenny from 10.30am.
The event will feature a panel with DCC Climate Coordinator Lorraine Arbuckle and DCC Biodiversity Officer Julie Corry. There will also be a round robin introduction of stands around the floor, featuring a speaker from the Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO) and Gerard McDaid, a lecturer in agriculture at ATU.
The event will also provide an opportunity to learn about careers in the environment and farming, upcoming funding opportunities, and network with other groups.
Refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending or booking a stand space can email MClyde@donegalcoco.ie.
