Get ready for a week of family fun at the 48th annual Burtonport Summer Festival! From July 19th to 27th, the festival will transform the town into a hub of music, entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Nightly music under the stars is a highlight, featuring a stellar lineup of local and national talent. Enjoy performances by Glór Tíre winner Jason McCahil, Claudia Buckley, Jim Devine, Conor O’Donnell and the Cufflinks Band, Ben Carr, and a Tina Turner tribute!

The festival kicks off with a special tribute to the late Noreen McGarvey, a beloved Burtonport native. The Burtonport Variety Group will host a night of music and entertainment, and a memorial plaque will be unveiled in her honour.

Days will be filled with a variety of fun activities, including:

  • Children’s fancy dress disco
  • Drive-in bingo
  • Bonny baby show
  • Outdoor DJ sets
  • A lively community parade
  • 5K road race
  • 10K cycle time trial
  • And even a pet show!

There will be fundraisers galore too. Don’t miss the Float for Hope Boat Run on July 28th or the 25K fundraising march for the Dungloe Hospital Patient’s Comfort Fund on July 20th.

Make your trip to Burtonport even more memorable by entering the Festival Draw! Prizes include cash, getaways, vouchers to local businesses, and more. The draw takes place on August 9th.

The Burtonport Summer Festival promises a week of laughter, music, and community spirit. Don’t miss out on the fun!
