Gardai and the emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic accident on the road between Letterkenny and Newmills.
At least one car has ended upside down in a ditch between Conwal and Kernan’s Service Station.
Traffic can pass but Gardai are asking motorists to exercise care.
It has not been confirmed if anybody has been injured in the incident which happened just before 8.30pm.
