There is heavy flooding in Dunfanaghy this evening.
Storm Ashley has left its mark at the Square in the town.
The picture above taken by a local reader just before 9pm shows the heavy water.
There is also heavy water lying on the N56 and motorists are asked to take extra care.
Donegal County Council has also issued further warnings this evening.
People are asked to avoid the local road the L1393-2 at Braade, Carrickfinn between the running track and the Station House during tonight’s high tide.
A further warning has been issued for the R259 regional road and roads in and around Annagry due to rising waters.
