Letterkenny coach and gym owner Adam Speer will be flying the flag for Donegal in the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship Kona Hawai’i this Saturday.
The iconic KONA race, a gruelling 226km coastal journey, attracts the world’s top professional and age group triathletes.
Speer is a well-known figure in the local fitness community as the owner of Speer Performance in Newmills.
As he acclimatises in Hawai’i this week, his Letterkenny Triathlon clubmates are rallying behind him and said: “We’re so proud of all your hard work and dedication, Adam. You’ve got the entire club cheering you on!”
