The 100% Redress Party say they want Donegal’s Charles ward to be one of five TDs elected in the upcoming general election.

The Drumkeen man was put forward by the party top contest the vote which is expected to take place at the end of November.

The party say they are committed to ensuring that Donegal people’s voices are heard loud and clear in Dublin.

They say they are running in response to two schemes they claim have fallen short over the past decade that have not provided the end-to-end solutions necessary that our county desperately needs.

In a statement issued today, the party said they firmly believe that nobody should be left behind and that it’s time to address the needs of all citizens.

“We fully endorse the People’s Document which outlines critical reforms to bring about meaningful change. Real change will only happen if we elect five pro-redress TDs who are committed to making these changes a reality.

“We trust our electorate to make the right decision and we urge ordinary homeowners to come out in force, use their vote to put the people and their safety first.

“We commend the tireless efforts of all campaign groups that have worked diligently to address what is now a critical situation caused by defective materials in Donegal and other counties. It is their dedication to advocating for an end to this debacle that has been nothing short of heroic.”

The group adds that all have differing opinions, but united in our shared goal to achieve 100 percent redress and pledged to work in tandem with all groups to get their voices heard in Dublin.

And the group says it is fully behind their Donegal candidate as he starts his campaign ion the doorsteps of the county soon.

The statement adds “We firmly believe that Charles Ward is the right candidate to represent the people of Donegal in Dublin. Charles understands that our county faces numerous challenges beyond the defective concrete crisis.

“The overstretched health service, the worsening housing crisis, mental health concerns, education, agriculture and fisheries are all sectors under increasing pressure. We need stronger representation and support at a national level.

“Our debilitated infrastructure and lack of investment in the rural tourism sector further impedes local economic growth.

“Charles is committed to advocating for these crucial areas fully supported by The 100% Redress Party. Charles will address Donegal’s unique challenges with the urgency they deserve.

“Together, we can bring about the change our community needs. We urge everyone to join us on this journey to bring the much-needed voice of our community to the heart of government. Together we can ensure that our concerns are heard and acted upon.”
