Gardaí are investigating the theft of a copper cylinder from a house near Creeslough last month.

The incident occurred in the area of Drumnaraw sometime between Friday, October 25, and Saturday, November 30.

A vacant house in that area was entered after the back door was forced open and a copper cylinder was stolen from the hot press.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in that area over the course of those few weeks to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” a garda spokesperson said.

Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on to the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
