Abbey Vocational School are through to the MacRory Cup Final.

They were victorious over Southwest Donegal this afternoon at Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon.

That makes Abbey VS the first Donegal school to make a MacRory Cup Final since the 1960s.

They ran out two-point winners, 0-12 to 0-10 in a closely faught contest against their Southwest opponents.

Abbey had a commanding four point lead at the half-time break, but were made to work hard until the final whistle to secure their final place.

They will find out who their opponents are tomorrow, after St Patrick’s Armagh and St Patrick’s Maghera play eachother in the second Semi-Final.
