Basketball: Team North West get back to winning ways

Team North West got back to winning ways on Saturday night in the ATU hall Letterkenny with a win over Dublin Lions.

After a number of losses playing away from home the boys didn’t disappoint the home crowd with a score of 90-81 against the Dublin team.

The Northwest won all 4 quarters, leading by one point at halftime 51-50. and scored 14 three pointers against the Lions’ 11.

Luke Cassidy was top scorer on the night with 26 points.

Thanks to Kevin Grimes of the Four Lanterns for his sponsorship of this game.

The next 2 games are away to Moycullen and Carrickmacross with the next home game on 7th February against Scott Lakers.
