Buncrana kickboxer Liam Grant has claimed a mightily impressive European title.
He took the crown after three dominant performances at the ISKA European Kickboxing Championship in Malta over the weekend.
Liam’s triumph was one of ten gold medals claimed by the Irish contingent at the championships.
It also accounted for one of the two medals claimed by his club, the Strike Marital Arts Academy in Derry.
His European title is the latest feather in the young fighter’s cap, having already claimed the ISKA Irish title in 2024, and also finishing third in last year’s ISKA World Championships.
Liam will now look to win his second Irish title in as many years in the upcoming Irish Championships in Derry in a couple of weeks.
