Gardaí have re-issued an appeal after it’s alleged that two assaults took place in a short period of time in Ballybofey last week.
Both incidents occurred last Wednesday, the 16th of April.
They happened in an alleyway just off of Lower Main Street in the town, between 6:30pm and 7pm.
Gardaí say that a young female reported that she was assaulted by a male teenager, suffering non-life threatening injuries.
In issuing their appeal for information, Gardaí say that a male teenager also reported being assaulted by a group of teenage girls at the same location during those times.
Anyone who witnessed either assault has been asked to make contact with Letterkenny Garda Station.
Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have been travelling in the Lower Main Street area of Ballybofey at that time and has camera or dashcam footage to make it available to them.
