Finn Harps boss Kevin McHugh will be hoping that home comforts bring some decent results for his side in their upcoming games.
The Donegal outfit have been on the road in recent weeks including a long and fruitless trip to Cobh Ramblers last weekend which saw them return on the wrong end of a 3-1 result.
McHugh will be hoping to reverse matters when his side take on Treaty United at Finn Park tonight with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The next four games will see Harps enjoy home advantage against Treaty United, UCD and Athlone Town with a trip to Longford Town in between.
Kevin McHugh said that with a small squad, there will be more opportunities for young players to push through ans show what they have to offer.
He said “As a team we still have loads to improve on, but performance wise and attitude wise it’s been hugely encouraging with certain individuals starting to find good form and show some real consistency.
“The level of fitness and energy we are showing are of a high level and we will need this and more tonight against a very experienced Treaty team.
“As per last season, with a small squad, the three games in a week has resulted in key injuries to a few of our experienced players in Conor Tourish and Mikey Place, but this will bring opportunities for the younger players and for our more experienced players to step up and lead this group on the pitch in their absence.”
Max Johnston, Conor Tourish, Mikey Place are all out for tonight’s game through injury while Dave Cawley is doubtful.
