The N56 Link Road near Letterkenny Business & Technology Park has been reopened this evening after a vehicle fire.

A transport lorry went up in flames after 3pm today (Thursday), which saw a driver having a lucky escape.  Fire services rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control while the road between the Kiltoy roundabout and the Knocknamona roundabout was closed.

It has been confirmed that the road has now been cleared and traffic is moving as normal.
