THE DONEGAL MILLIONAIRE WHO IS STILL CUTTING A DASH WITH ROYALTY

He may be a long way from his roots in Co Donegal but millionaire former racing driver Paddy McNally is still cutting a dash.

McNally, 73, started out life as a racing reporter but soon turned to the advertising side of the business and within a few short years was on his way to making a fortune.

Now based in Switzerland, McNally is still good friends with former princess Sarah Ferguson after dating the former wife of Prince Andrew in the 1980s.

The pair met in the ultra chic mountain resort where their love blossomed for a while before they went their separate ways.

And like a typical Donegal gent, McNally, worth as estimated €280million, is still on very good etrms with the former royal.

He kindly loaned Ms Ferguson his ski lodge while she battled her way down the slopes of Verbier in Switzerland.

McNally, who is the 41st richest man in Ireland, made his fortune from Formula One advertising having teamed up with Bernie Ecclestone.
