SHOCK AT SUDDEN PASSING OF WELL-KNOWN DONEGAL BAR OWNER

There has been widespread shock at the sudden death of one of Donegal’s best-known publicans John Carolan.

Mr Carolan, who owned the Dew Drop Inn in Laghey, was a hugely well-known figure around the county.

Described by all who knew him as a true gentleman, John passed away suddenly at Letterkenny General Hospital.

His funeral will take place tomorrow at St Bridget’s Church in Ballintra at 11am.
