A young Co Donegal man is to face trial over the death of a woman following a road smash in January.
Declan McDonnell of Whitehall, Churchill appeared in court yesterday.
He was charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Michelle McCabe on the main N2 Dublin to Derry Road on January 25th last.
McDonnell, 27, was remanded on his own bail of €500.
He is to appear again before Monaghan Circuit Criminal Court on October 8th.
Mrs McCabe, who was in her 30s and from Latton, Co Monaghan, was killed when her car was in collision with a car being driven by McDonnell.
