COOKING EVENING TO CELEBRATE LIFE OF TRAGIC LOCAL CHEF

Remembering James Rehill PosterAn evening of cooking demonstrations and stories celebrating the life and career of a much loved local chef will take place in the Redcastle Hotel, Moville on October 17.

Food lovers and cooking enthusiasts will learn tips and tricks from cooking demonstrations on the night by ‘The No Salt Chef’ Brian McDermott’.

Talented chef James Rehill from Muff, passed away last October from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.

His short but impressive career spans from Muff across some Donegal’s best restaurants before moving over to a 2 Michelin starred Restaurant in a Scotland hotel, then back to another Michelin starred restaurant in Waterford.

James’ family, friends and colleagues will share their fond memories of him as they explore the three stages of his career.

 

 

 

Tickets for the event are on sale in Muff at Thomas McColgan Butchers, Lynch’s Butchers , Spar, Harkin’s and The Squealing Pig. In Carndonagh at Claire the Bakers. In Ballyliffin at Nancy’s Barn Coffee Shop and in Moville from the Brian McDermott Cookery School.
