Realt na Mara 0:15 v Gaeil Fhánada 0:13
Bundoran got off to a fast start in this match and went three points ahead. Fanad responded with a great score from Michael Sweeney.

Bundoran added two further points beforeFanad Gaels hit back with three points in a row from Ryan McGonigle, Oisin Shiels and Seami ‘Nanny’ Friel.

The Gaels then had Mark Friel black carded which was judged to be a very harsh decision by the away team and supporters. This seemed to upset Fanad and Bundoran took full advantage and added three more scores before the interval leaving the scores at 0-08 to 0-04 to the home team. Fanad Gaels started the second half with intent and raised the white flag five times in a row with great team work especially in midfield where Michael Sweeney took control with an exhibition of excellent fielding. He had help from Aidan McAteer and Seami Frielwho were in great form. Fanad had chances to put further scores on the board but could not convert any of them.Bundoran then steadied the ship and played a great running game and kicked two Keeney frees. This game was up for grabs for whoever could push on and take the game by the scruff of the neck. With the game all level going into the final stages, it was Bundoran who got the last two scores and more importantly two valuable points.
