Fit-Hub in Letterkenny is offering Functional, safe & effective training for teens & pre-teens this summer.Girls

Using some of the most qualified trainers, coaches, nutritionists & lecturers in the fitness industry Fit-Hub promises these sessions are not to be missed!!

For the Girls – Functional Fitness on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12pm-1pm (€5)

This class has been designed with the younger lady in mind.

With so much focus by the media on aesthetics of the female form & many magazines boasting skinny un-healthy girls on the covers, Fit-Hub endeavours to help teach girls a healthy & sustainable approach to training & nutrition.

Many young women are very body conscious & lack the security that some of us more mature ladies may possess & learning healthy nutritional principles coupled with proper training will only seek to reinforce some self-confidence.

Not all young women are the same & neither should their training or eating habits & for that reason we have some of the finest coaches on offer that are well versed in youth training that can devise classes to suit all ages, shapes, sizes, abilities & fitness levels.

This class will be launched on Monday 23rd of June @ 12pm & will run throughout the summer so they can join at any time & when schools reconvene in September there will be an after school option on offer to keep them on track.

For the Guys (& the Girls) – Weightlifting for Strength, Power & Speed Tuesday & Thursday from 1-2pm (€7)

These sessions are programmed with the aspiring athlete and/or weightlifter in mind. There is so much conflicting information circulating pertaining to the safety of weightlifting for young people, much of which is fuelled by misinformation & fear of injury.

However, when the fundamentals of weight bearing exercise are learned in a safe & effective environment, the potential benefits to life & sporting performance are limitless.

Fit-hub boasts some of the industries finest performance coaches, strength & conditioning coaches & performance nutritionists, many of whom are already working with local elite athletes & teams. The opportunity for young people/athletes to work with these coaches will be hugely beneficial & rewarding both on & off the field.
